What does the ADMYRE program look like?

  • PIAL began offering a new teen dating violence awareness program in February 2022. ADMYRE: Advocating for My Relationships includes a simulation where students walk through one of eight true short stories which is followed up by a robust debrief where students are empowered to use resources and promote healthy relationships in their own lives. We encourage you to have a school counselor present for students in case they feel the need to talk to someone about what they experience during the program.

To improve accessibility, PIAL offers several free ways to experience the ADMYRE program. All options have separate middle school (MS) and high school (HS) versions.

  • Request a visit from the PIAL team to present the MS or HS program for an in-person presentation in Iowa.
  •  Request a link to the one-hour online MS or HS program.
  • Request the ADMYRE Kit which provides almost everything you need to present ADMYRE on your own including access to digital files.
  •  Request the ADMYRE Spanish Add-on Kit including one MS story and one HS story in Spanish and other Spanish materials.
Stat: Ninety-five percent of of participants had a positive experience with the program content, activities, and facilitators.
