Dr. Tera Jordan and Andrea Dencklau to present at Women in the NAACP (WIN)

Dr. Tera Jordan and Andrea Dencklau, LMSW will be presenting to Women in the NAACP (WIN). Their presentation will be the first in a four-part series on Recruitment and Retention of Foster Parents. They will be discussing their research on placement of African American children involved in the Iowa child welfare system. 

The opportunity to present comes from Dr. Jordan and Dencklau's work with the Kinship Project. The Kinship Project is a collaboration between The Youth Policy Institute of Iowa (YPII), ISU, and other key stakeholders that proposes to assess the barriers and challenges that families and social workers face in identification, engagement, and support of kinship caregiving. 

The presentation is Monday, May 17 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
